Founded by Shelly Trotter

Our History

Over the past few years, we have experienced a shift in the service model of insurance brokers. Many brokers are focusing their attention on larger employer groups while reducing services offered to those that are mid sized or smaller. We believe that companies of all sizes should receive the same level of expertise, reporting and opportunities. Our 30 years of diverse experience has helped us create a business model that is focused on providing the very best service to all our clients. We care deeply and are passionate about the success of our client’s and believe in importance of professional yet personable business relationships. Shelly Trotter

Shelly Trotter has over 30 years of experience as a senior benefits consultant servicing groups ranging in size from 3 to 5,000 employees working with one of the largest independent consulting firms in Western Canada. She managed client expectations, budget initiatives and employee satisfaction for both retirement and benefits for more than 75 clients. Now, as principal of Benefit Network Inc., she provides a unique service model enhancing her client’s experience by providing usable tools and becoming a true partner of an organization.

Currently on the Foundation Board of Chrysalis and Chair of the Chrysalis Breakfast Gala, Shelly enjoys volunteering her time and is very involved in the community.
